Commercial EV charging optimisation in WA
A row of EV chargers can double a commercial site's peak demand overnight. We coordinate charging at the site level so it lands in the right windows, stays inside the building's load envelope, and works with the solar and storage already on site.
EV charging is a peak demand event waiting to happen.
A handful of fast chargers on a commercial site can pull more power than the rest of the building combined. Workplace charging at 5pm on a hot Thursday lands in exactly the wrong window. Resident charging in a strata car park can trip the building's supply if every car plugs in on arrival.
Without coordination, EV charging becomes the most expensive load on the site. With coordination, it becomes one of the most controllable. The platform shares the decision with load management and any battery on site.
Four decisions we make on every charging session.
The building doesn't trip.
The platform watches the site's total demand in real time and throttles or staggers charging sessions before the supply limit is hit. Charging happens. The main switchboard stays inside its envelope.
Charging when energy is cheap.
Where the vehicle's departure time allows, charging is shifted into off-peak windows. The same kWh arrives in the car at a lower cost per session.
Charging the car with the roof.
When solar is generating and surplus is available, vehicles get charged from the roof before the grid. Self-consumption goes up. Site spend goes down.
Charging out of the peak.
The platform forecasts the site's peak demand window and ensures EV charging is not contributing to it. The biggest line on a commercial bill stays smaller than it would otherwise.
Built for the sites where EVs are landing.
Commercial sites with employee or visitor EV charging in the car park, where charging coincides with the working day.
Operational fleets that return to a depot for overnight or between-shift charging, where timing flexibility is highest and the savings are largest.
Apartment buildings and mixed-use sites where resident EVs are arriving faster than the electrical infrastructure was designed for.

From charging review to live operation.
We model the load.
We look at the site's existing demand profile, the planned or existing EV charging hardware, and the building's supply envelope. The output is a quantified view of what coordination would change. The review is free.
We connect to the chargers.
We integrate with the major commercial EV charging hardware platforms. We don't replace your charger vendor. We coordinate them with the rest of the site.
We run charging every session.
Load envelope protection, tariff window timing, solar coordination, peak avoidance. Drivers and tenants notice nothing operationally. The bill notices.
What operators ask about EV charging.
Coordinate EV charging with the rest of the site.
Free charging review. We model the load impact of your existing or planned EV charging and show you the difference active coordination would make. No commitment.
