eXtensa is the active energy management platform for commercial and strata sites in Western Australia. We operate the batteries, solar, load, and tariff position on sites where energy is a material cost.

The WA electricity market has been quietly restructuring for years. Network tariffs, reserve capacity charges, alternative electricity service regulation, distributed PV controls. The rules underneath every WA commercial energy bill have moved.
The response on most sites hasn't. Solar systems were installed in 2018 and haven't been re-examined since. Batteries were sized against a business case nobody is operating against. Tariffs were chosen by a person no longer at the company. Load is running on schedules set when the building was commissioned.
eXtensa exists to close that gap. We operate the assets on commercial sites against the WA market as it is today, not as it was when those assets were installed.

We built eXtensa because operating that way at scale needed a platform. The platform is what we now run for other sites.
